HOW TO PROTECT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH AS A MUSICIAN.
As a musician, it's important to take care of your mental health. Here are some tips to help you protect your mental health: ■ Take time for yourself: Whether it’s meditating, taking a walk, or indulging in self-care activities, make sure to take some time to recharge. ■ Practice self-compassion: We can be our own worst critics, but it’s important to be kind and understanding with yourself. ■ Connect with other musicians: Connecting with other musicians allows you to share experiences, advice and resources. ■ Get enough sleep: Sleep helps to keep our minds healthy and alert. ■ Eat healthy and exercise: Eating healthy and exercising regularly can help reduce stress and boost your mood. ■ Talk to a professional: If you feel you need additional support, don’t be afraid to reach out to a mental health professional.

My Music Promotion Tips Series: part1
There are many different strategies you can use to promote music; I will be sharing some tips, overtime, as a series. These tips have begun showing me awesome results, and they will help you too. To start out, here are three that can be especially effective: 1. Social Media Outreach - Utilize social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to reach out to potential fans and engage with them. Share snippets of your music, post interesting content, and start conversations to help spread the word about your music. 2. Collaborate With Other Artists - Network with other musicians and collaborate on projects to reach a wider audience. This can help to expand your fan base and create more exposure for your music. 3. Live Performances - Live performances can be an excellent way to promote music. The energy of a live show can help to create a more lasting impression on your future fans.

Take frequent breaks while mixing - [CREATIVE TIP]
Take frequent breaks while working on your sounds. A very important part of the production and revision process is taking breaks to freshen your ears. While there may be some value in alternative listening options, a more valuable means of refreshing your ear is to take short but frequent breaks while mixing. This might sound awkward if you’re working at a commercial studio and paying an hourly rate. Yeah, That’s another advantage to mixing in the box in your own home studio😉. If I’m working remotely it’s particularly easy; I keep track of my actual work time and don’t charge for those breaks doing the dishes (complete that next gta mission😁) to refresh my ear. If I’m working with the artist present, I still do most of the mix work before they arrive so that we can focus on the fine and more complex details—and so I can use frequent breaks to really prepare for focusing on those details. 🥁What do you think about this creative tip?
